 Background Inbye was formed in Australia in late 1997 to bring together the skills of certain experienced mining and manufacturing executives, and to exploit a perceived requirement in the coal industry for reliable professional engineering services, equipment supply and support. Inbye Mining Services has continued to expand its resources and reputation to become a competitive technical and commercial option for the supply of specialist underground coal mining equipment and professional services. Recent developments have seen Inbye join the Polish ZZM Kopex Group, with Kopex becoming a major shareholder in the company. The Nepean Group, a large and well known Australian engineering group of companies, is also a significant shareholder in Inbye. These Groups have brought Inbye both financial support and access to the considerable engineering and manufacturing expertise and additional world class products. The Inbye Team Inbye has a team of engineers and managers who collectively have many years experience in the supply of modern longwall installations in Australia. In addition the company has trained a stable and skilled workforce that has enabled it to develop into a recognized and successful mining equipment supplier and in particular a trusted provider of replacement parts, overhaul services and engineering support. The Inbye Products Inbye is a supplier of longwall mining systems and associated products. In-house, Inbye designs and manufactures a complete range of Armoured Face Conveyor (AFC & BSL) equipment for modern longwall systems. Inbye has designed equipment with installed power of up to 3000kW and operating with up to 48mm chain size. In conjunction with our strategic partners Tagor (part of the Kopex group) and Tiefenbach we can offer longwall roof supports incorporating the very latest technology.
